Riad Sakura Marrakech – A Favorite for Families in Marrakesh

Riad Sakura Marrakech offers family rooms with private bathrooms and inner courtyard views, recently renovated while retaining traditional Moroccan architecture. Each room includes air-conditioning, an electric kettle, and a minifridge - amenities not commonly found in Marrakech riads. The property's Superior Family Room has a mezzanine floor, providing separate sleeping areas for children.

The riad provides an outdoor fireplace and a sun terrace, both accessible to all guests. A shared lounge area with a TV is available for socializing, and the property offers ironing and laundry services. Free fast WiFi (106 Mbps) is included, along with a continental breakfast served daily on the rooftop terrace.

Situated in the heart of the Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the riad has an excellent location score of 9.7. Le Jardin Secret is 600 metres away, Djemaa El Fna is 1.3 km away, and Boucharouite Museum and Mouassine Museum are within walking distance. Marrakech-Menara Airport is 5 km from the property, with airport transfers arranged by the owner.

Family rooms are available, accommodating groups and children with the mezzanine layout in the Superior Family Room. The riad's location in a quiet alley off the souk provides a calm environment away from the noise, while still being minutes from shops and restaurants. Breakfast is included and can be served earlier than usual upon request for early tours.

The owner greets guests at the taxi drop-off point and walks them to the riad (a 3-5 minute walk). A welcome tea and biscuits are offered upon arrival, and staff provide local maps with personalized recommendations for sightseeing and tours. Daily activities such as desert tours can be arranged through the host, who also helps with transport bookings.
